French Junior paddlers training for the 2018 Junior & U23 European Championships on lake Most na Soči
The previous week we had the pleasure to host the French Junior Sprint Canoeing team on lake Most na Soči. Their decision to visit us was quick and as their coach Yann Gudefin says »a great idea« to bring a bit of diversity into their training sessions.
A group of 7 sprint athletes (best three Junior men, best two Junior ladies and best two Canoe ladies) and their two coaches enjoyed some good sessions on Most na Soči lake with the Slovenian Junior kayak team. Both teams have chosen this lake for the cold and heavy water conditions, very similar to the waters in Auronzo where the European Junior and U23 Championships will be held next week.
We wish the French team best of luck at the Championships and hope to see them again on our lakes!
