WHERE TO FIND PARADISE

Training in Paradise is located in Europe in the North Western part of Slovenia – a hidden corner of unspoiled nature squeezed between Italy, Austria and the Slovenian Alps. It is a triangle of three magical lakes – Bled, Bohinj, and Most na Soči – with the Triglav national park in the middle.

This area is a true paradise for athletes with endless training possibilities inside its untouched forests, amazing mountains, and crystal lakes. Each lake is unique, captivating, and an ideal training location by itself. However as it’s less than 40 mins drive between each, paddlers and teams with vehicles often opt to train on more than one lake whilst they are here.

THE PERFECT PLACE TO PADDLE

OUR 3 INCREDIBLE LOCATIONS

LAKE BLED

Lake Bled is the symbol of Slovenia’s beauty. It is world known for its picturesque little island in the middle of the Alpine lake, the castle on the rock above the lake, and its idyllic surroundings.

Lake Bled has been a mecca for paddlers and rowers for decades now and offers a recently renewed racing course, Olympic rowing center and all the commodities of a small town next to the perfect lake.

Bled has hosted 3 rowing world championships (1966, 1989, 2011), and is ideally located for fast access by car, bus, train or plane.

LAKE BOHINJ

Lake Bohinj is Slovenia’s largest glacial lake. It lies inside the Triglav national park surrounded by the highest mountains in the country.

The natural beauty of the surrounding mountain peaks, deep green forests, beautiful mountain pastures and meadows along with friendly villages guarantee its visitors an unforgettable stay.

Lake Bohinj is approximately 4 km long and well sheltered by cliffs. It is the most pristine and untouched of our 3 lakes which is also the reason why paddlers like it so much.

Most na Soči

Most na Soči is located on a rocky crest above the confluence of Soča and Idrijca rivers. It is known for the emerald river Soča and its breathtaking lake.

The lake stretches in 3 directions, 2 of which are very well sheltered from winds. The third leg going north is more open and offers an amazing view of the surrounding hills and the Alps in the background.

You will never forget this lake after paddling on its amazing turquoise colored waters.
