Team NZL doing great at the 2017 Junior & U23 World Championships

The New Zealand national Junior and U23 national team has done very well on the World Championships in Romania after staying with us for their final preparation camp.

Aimee Fisher has just had an amazing weekend in Pitešti snatching gold both in K1 200m and K1 500 meters in the U23 category. In the process she has beaten such amazing and accomplished athletes as european chamipon Dora Lucz, Olympic bronze medalist Emma Jorgensen and others.

Kurtis Imrie finished 5th in a packed field of men’s U23 K1 500m.

The mens U23 K4 500 of Ben Duffy, Taris Harker, Karl McMurtrie and Imrie Kurtis made it to the A final which is an amazing feat for this unexperienced crew.

Very proud we played a small part in their success story!
