Euro paddle pass benchmark assessment and meeting in Copenhagen

Our coaches attended the Euro Paddle pass meeting and benchmark assessment held in Copenhagen in mid October. The EPP project aim is to create a common system of paddle sport competency awards across Europe. And since after this meeting we are allowed in Slovenia to assess canoe competency up until level 3 in 5 different disciplines.

It was a very interesting event organized by the Danish canoe federation with lots of knew knowledge gained about the standards and methods of assessing paddlers levels. We were also fortunate enough to have Olympic silver medalist in K2 1000m from Beijing Kim Wrae give us a tour of Copenhagen’s clubs, training centers and of course the old city center!
