We felt the Canadian team on Most na Soči was doing great and feeling good. It was obvious they were going to do well. But still it was a great pleasure and excitement watching them win on the world’s stage.

Katie and Laurence have won the ladies C2 500 title in their first championships together despite both paddling on the left side. Proving their strength in C1 is the main factor making a crew boat go fast.

A day later Laurence also won the ladies C1 200m title. It was a tough race and Laurence had to push her best time lower again to defend her dominant status.

Nothing seems to stop these two ladies! Congrats!
