Lake Bohinj lays in the heart of Training in Paradise area. It is the place Slovenian rowers and kayakers use before the biggest competition (Iztok Čop and Luka Špik used to train here immediately before each of their 3 duble scull olympic medal performances, Špela Ponomarenko has trained here before her silver in Dusiburg 2013). But in 2014 and 2015 lake Bohinj is opening its doors to big international competitions for the first time.  Here are the dates:

·         7-8th June 2014: Canoe Marathon World Cup Juniors&Seniors

·         June 2015: Master’s European Cup

·         June 2015: Canoe Marathon European Championships Juniors&Seniors
